About Behavior Designs Academy:
Meet Amber Farrar, M.S., BCBA, LBA- MO, OK, VA
With 11 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to helping others succeed, I founded Behavior Designs Academy to support aspiring behavior analysts on their journey to certification.
My Journey
My love for the science of behavior began in 2014 when I met Allison Gohring, Ed.D., BCBA, LBA. As one of my undergraduate professors pursuing her BCBA certification, she inspired my path in this field. I went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education from Missouri Baptist University. After three years in the classroom, I started the Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis program at Mary Baldwin University.
Today, Allison and I are business partners at Behavior Designs, LLC, providing supervision to teachers pursuing BCBA certification.
